Quinta Mazatlan
600 Sunset Dr. · McAllen, TX · Nature Centers & Wildlife Refuges
Quinta Mazatlan is the McAllen wing of the World Birding Center, built around a 1930s adobe mansion with paved trails winding through native trees and feeding stations. It is one of the easier Valley birding spots to walk, which makes it a good fit for visitors who want green jays and kiskadees without a long hike. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8am to 5pm, staying open until 7pm on Thursdays for evening programs. Closed Sunday and Monday.
