W & I Resort

W & I is unusual for the Valley in that the people staying there own it. Park members are leaseholders who collectively own the resort, and a nine-member board drawn from the residents runs it, so decisions about rules and improvements are made in-house rather than by an out-of-state operator. There are 233 lots, 33 of which are currently RV pads. A full-time manager, a maintenance worker, and a part-time custodian keep it staffed year-round. Availability depends on a lot coming up for sale or lease from a member, so contact the office rather than expecting nightly bookings.
