Adolph Thomae Jr. County Park

A county-run park rather than a resort, which is what makes it cheap and quiet. There are 35 full-hookup RV sites plus a tent area, many of them along the water, each with a table. Fishing is the draw: lighted piers, a boat ramp with courtesy docks, and fish cleaning stations. A nature trail, wildlife observation tower, playground, and picnic areas fill out the rest, and the gate is open daily from 6am to 10pm year-round.
