531 sites on North Loop 499 in Harlingen, run by Encore and open year-round about an hour from South Padre Island. The dance hall has a proper stage and carries weekly dances and potlucks. Elsewhere there is a swimming pool and hot tub, fitness center, shuffleboard, pickleball, billiards, game room, library, business center, dog park, laundry, and RV storage, with cable TV and Wi-Fi at the site. The activity list runs to wood carving, a woodshop, garden club, yoga, water aerobics, bingo, exercise classes, church services, and an RC track. Minimum check-in age is 55 and children are not permitted.
