Golden Grove RV Park

An age-restricted adult RV park on South Bentsen Palm Drive in Palmview, west of McAllen. Sites are full hookup with free Wi-Fi, and the office will send a fax for you, which still matters for insurance and Medicare paperwork. Mature fruit trees shade the grounds. The staff are full-time residents of the park rather than seasonal hires. Location is the selling point: minutes from McAllen's convention center, dining, and Performing Arts Center, and within reach of golf courses, birding centers, Nuevo Progreso, and South Padre Island.
